Camps & CLASSES

Summer Camp 2016

All Camps will be Monday through Friday, from 12 to 3 pm.  Students may bring a snack and water.

Class space is limited to 5 students, and 1 or 2 of my daughters will join some sessions.

Please see our Student Works Gallery for some examples of drawings and videos that were created this past year.

The cost is $150 per student per week.  Contact me to register, to get more information or discuss any special circumstances.

Clay work done during Clay Week will be fired at Paint Your Own Pottery in Occoquan, but class will occur at Wainscott Art Studio.

Check back here later in April for more specific details about specific classes.

Drawing and Digital Art 2
9+ years

Fall 2015 - Weekly 1.5 Hour Class at  4:30 PM on Wednesdays

This class will be able to get into more challenging drawing assignments and more complex apps on the tablets.  The mantra of this class will be to work towards improving.  I want students to actively handle their frustrations by working on hand-eye coordination and exploring how different art media behave.

Adult Digital Art Class

Adults
Fall 2015 - Weekly 1.5 Hour Classes either Tuesday or Wednesday at 9:00 AM

I want to offer this class for adults who are free during the day and want to learn how to create art, manipulate and mash-up photos, and author digital photo and storybooks.   Each day there would be a demo, and an optional challenge to spur inspiration and exploration,  then students would each have time to ask questions about any project of their own that they wish. If there is interest, I can also plan demos of animation topics as well.
